How Can I Make a Difference in Someone's Life?
There are many ways to get involved with SRB. 

Trees and Mountains

SRBCares Programs

  • Birthday program - Help us celebrate seniors who are having a birthday by filling their wish list, making handwritten cards, etc

  • Pick-Me-Up program - In partnership with Broomfield Senior Services, help us bring a bit of joy to an older adult in need by filling their wish list

  • Adopt-A-Senior program - Help fill a seniors Christmas list and share some holiday spirit

  • iPad Program program - If you or your teenager has expert iPad knowledge, help us train older adults to use and feel comfortable with an iPad.  Help them to learn how to reach out to family and friends and the world wide web to help combat isolation

  • Sewing - If your talent lies in more creative areas, help us make Busy Blankets for residents with Dementia/Alzheimer's, make fleece no-sew blankets, custom bibs, and adaptive clothing for those older adults with special needs

Become a member of the SRB Board of Directors

 

The Board of Directors is the legal authority for Senior Resources of Broomfield, Inc., a private, 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. The board member acts in a position of trust for the community and is responsible for the effective governance of the organization.

 

​Responsibilities:

  • To advocate for the independence, integration, and identity of older persons in the community

  • To commit personal time and effort to meet the needs of Broomfield County’s older population

  • Through fundraising activities, we support a wide range of programs

  • Adhere to SRB Bylaws

 

Members are elected at the Annual Meeting in December and serve for a three (3) year term. 

​

SRB hopes that you give some thought to helping older adults, by volunteering your time and talents to SRB.  If you are passionate about seniors and have a skill that would benefit SRB and its Mission, (i.e., IT, Marketing, Grant Writing, Sales, Fundraising, and Advocating for others,)

We want you to join us!  You will be glad you did.
